Blackspur gas torch
« on: July 04, 2010, 11:08:31 am »

Has anyone any dealings with the above?
They are £2.95 reduced from £5.95 in my local
supermarket.
I was looking a buying a lot more expensive one and I am a great
believer in the maxim 'you get what you pay for' but this is a throw away
price.

:((  Hi Ned,  I've tried two of these, and they work great ..... for one or two fills of gas... then I had problems....  gas jets either blocked up completely or gave a long yellow flame about 9 inches long .... totally useless.  I gave up with them.   <:( <:(
Hope others have had better luck.

Thanks for the info Aestus57
At that price the metal used in the nozzle for flame control
is probably of very poor grade alloy
Maplins have a good offer on so Hey Ho!
