Battery Voltage?

Hi, I am trying to cycle my battery pack.
 It a 7.2v 5000mAh Nimh pack, (fairley standard.) :-))
 I have it driving a windscreen washer motor, pumping water out and  back into a bucket. The pump is drawing 1.6amps
The voltage now, as the pump is running, is down to 4.5v and slowly dropping, as is the volume of water being pumped. Obviously!
My Question is, how low can the battery pack go, to be considered discharged?

6.0 volts.
