First run on steam
«

I could not resist taking advantage of the wife going out shopping leaving me to run wild in the house this is the result:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkOU13DczoU
It leaks steam all over the place so the pressure fell quickly this linked to a safety valve which is not doing as it should but I am still very pleased with the progress so far.
A big difference between running on air and steam so much more alive.

The ability to run slow is proof of good workmanship on your engine. Very nice!

I think it might be a good idea to wait until I finish the burner!
I thought it best to claim no responsibility instead said that it was the result of a too large frying pan
.
Wife just shook her head and walked away

Hello!
Very nice launch, Gyronut! Sails perfectly and looks easy to manoeuver !
What kind of propeller do you have? This launch must 3' long isn't it?
Cheers!

It looks very well proportioned, so many mine included end up with the engine and boiler overwhelming the boat.

Gerald.

Another example of a well proportioned boat. I am going to have to buy a waterproof keyboard.

Gerald.

Placed the plant in the launch and tried it out pleased with the result so far.
Issues to be resolved include:
cooling of Gas tank
location of water tank
Using condensate to warm gas perhaps
make a some more fixtures and fittings

Works and looks great!
An easy way to keep the gas tank from cooling down too much is to have it close to the boiler/burner or condenser.
