Hi, I'm looking for a source of really small steam valves, for pipes 3 mm or 2 mm in diameter, to suit a very small steam engine.
They can be the normal kind or r/c valves. But it's important that the valve body is as small as possible.

Can anyone help?

kno3  ...do not be determined by the tubing size as offered in a catalogue   ...........the valve body sizing is your requirement...... .....Derek

Exactly so the only sure fire method is to contact the supplier and ask him to measure one up for you before you actually purchase it.  If any member measures one up you will never be sure if you can buy exactly the same valve again.

Hi Kno3,

The valve shown in Derek's pic's with the lovely valve body is part of Reeves 2000 International Range. Used these valves in the past, very reliable, good throttle control and very very pretty (for a valve )
