Hello all, I've just binded my rc set-up but when the boat is ON and then I turn on the controller the motors go mad but the controller has no effect, but the motors dont go mad until the control is turned on. Any ideas?

What sort of ESC are you using? If its an Mtroniks, then you need to set that up as well.

First turn on the TX, then the RX. The two leds on the viper (red & green) should flash. Press the set-up button. The green led comes on. Set the Throttle control full forward, the Red led comes on . Set the throttle full reverse. The ESC is now set up.
Hope this helps.

LED's flash as long as i push the set up button before the motors go mad then the green come on solid, but no response when I hold the throttle forward.

Found the problem, My receiver suggested channel 1 so tried it in channel 2 and worked straight away, thanks Barrie and all.

Conventionally on a 2 channel set, channel 1 is the rudder, channel 2 is the speed control.
With a Viper, you get about 2 seconds from switch-on to button press to get into program mode.
