hi , i do not think there was a set of plans but may be wrong, i think marvon were the first to kit the drifter in approx late 1970 s it changed hands sometime in the early 90 s and was marketed under the name of ocean models i got that particular kit from westbourne model centre about 1995 i still have the building instructions but no plan and to my recollection there never was one, ocean went out of production some time later and all the kits that ocean prodused were taken over by maxwell hemmens who still dose the drifter and some of the marvon models like chimaera pilot cutter i have still got my model a fine model it turned out to be although not a easy build at the time if there was a plan and i cant remember if there was lt would only be outline one i got the grp hull not the plank on frame i will have a look through some old stuff and see if anthing turns up and if i get some time this week i will put some pictures on here, length 47" beam 10" if you are intending to build the drifter now comes marketed under the name of formidable may i recommend the book from tree to sea by ted frost which you would find extremely helpfull kind ,regards allan.
