I'm not sure why you would think we exist simply to allow people like you to air thier personal greivances about a trader.

It would be appreciated, especially for your first post, to at least have the good manners to introduce yourself and then offer something of a more positive nature.

LB, it's not a question of censorship. It is not good practice to permit people to join Mayhem simply for the purpose of airing a grievance, whether justified or not. There are better ways of resolving the situation. We have been here before and while some complaints are justified, it is rarely that the true facts of the situation are exposed as each party will have their own viewpoint and by giving them a platform you are simply inviting an unpleasant slanging match to develop.

Whilst I agree with the Moderation, surely it would have been better to simply delete the thread and send a strongly worded message to the thread writer. That way, no controversy is caused in the first place..

Even better would have been to lock the thread to replies without deleting it, and let people make up their own minds. Nothing wrong with a bit of controversy IMHO.

All this said, it is astoundingly bad business practice, especially in such a tightly-knit niche market as this one is, to steal images and pass them off as your own.

The photo in question is one of mine. They took a photo of one of my models and are useing it as advertisement as to the quality of one of their products, that to me is not good buisness. but that is just me. I will leave it up to others for what ever they think about. It was just one persons views on the subject of what they think about it. Yes this person does know me and was just looking out for my self and others. We all know that their are a few bad apples out there that will take a product of some one's and reproduce it and sell it for a lower price than the person who actually made the master parts. I will leave it at this and not make any more comments for I would like to keep comming to this board.

My apologies.  I didn't look at this as a personal grievance - not like they messed up an order, failed to deliver product or that sort of thing, which can happen to anyone in the best of circumstances.  In my opinion, this is far more pernicious.

But to answer your question directly, because I would do it for you.   If you came to my forum and showed me proof that someone was using a photo of a model you built to market their product (and of course, was not built from their product), yes I would allow that.

It was one of your countrymen that put it best - "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing"

But obviously reasonable people can disagree, so I respect  your opinion.

I think it is quite reasonable to air this breach of copyright, but only AFTER you have tried to address it with the other party.  Have you done this? There could be several reasons why your photo is on their site without your permission - including a plain simple error.  If you ask them to sort this issue and they do not, THEN by all means advertise the fact ...
