Not sure about Keighly Tarn, they advertise it as a haven for wildlife, ducks etc so perhaps not. They sail model yachts at Yeadon Tarn tho. Maybe they wouldn't welcome any fazzys!?
Cheers,
Ian.

I would try to make enquiries at Keighley Council.

I have sailed up there but never realised there were any possibilities it may stop.  Maybe a visit on a Sunday morning may bring you into contact with some fellow modellers who may know.

I was up there just over 2 years ago. The place has been mucked about something awful, it used to be a great place to run boats. Reed beds have been planted at the western end. An island has been created at the eastern end. I can't see the point in putting the island there. It could have been put at the same end as the reed beds. By putting it where it is, it attracts birds around it, putting them in harms way of any fast boats. There is a small landing stage (Keighley & District MES?) at the eastern side of the lake. The place seems inclined towards wildlife and somewhere for people to walk around.
According to the signposts, anybody can run sail, steam, and electric anytime, But IC engined boats are restricted to monday, wednesday, friday, and saturday (limited hours) only by members of the Keighley club. They have buoys out marking an M course, but it is way out into the lake, and taking a course around it takes you close to the island, and the birds. If you go for a sail there, keep WELL AWAY from the island. The way it has been made there is shallow water around it for quite a distance from the visible shoreline.
