Gonna be a BIG barrel if you're using a Party Popper as the charge :embarrassed:   :-))

I take no responsibility for anyone making cannons or home made black powder do so at your own risk!

Thanks Marty but I hope you understand that I need to remove the post from Mayhem!

Unfortunately the forum admin feels that my post on working cannon construction using pyrotechnics is not appropriate for the forum so a few of the links off my post as well as the instruction have been removed.

I have no issue with that, as pointed out its a family forum and giving out formula for making explosives is probably not a good idea on a family forum, (should have though about that a bit really) but if anyone is interested on making working cannons as the display teams do please send me a PM with your email and i will mail you a set of instructions and relevant links on how to construct such items.

Thanks for understanding Marty, I don't have a full grasp of the anti terrorist & internet laws in the UK and I don't really want to find out first hand!  ok2

However I have found this, it's a party popper canon that Jimmy James uses on his 'FIREDRAKE', I'll post the photos and he can tell you the details.
( I think it's a brass canon with a hole in the back for the draw string for a stripped down party popper. A servo pulls the string and BANG! )

Jimmy also has the only model I know with a model of the modeller on it!  :-))
