Hi there
Has anyone been to or used the above company in the past ?
I am thinking of going to have a look around the place tomorrow afternoon and picking myself out a kit .
Do they have a showroom as such or is it more wharehouse / distribution type place ?
As its only about 20 minutes from here it could be quite a usefull resource for me .
I have been to the web site and they seem to have a fair selection on it . it would be nice to see some of them in the flesh as it were before parting with the hard earned if you know what I mean .

Thanks
Shane

As with all manufactures, spend a good 5 minutes checking the detail on the hull, some moulds have been around a long time.....

http://www.jotika-ltd.com

If you are going, give them a ring first they are basically a warehouse and factory.

hI THERE, I managed to get the link to work.   Ive dealt with this Company several times whilst building the Fairmile B model and they supplied all of the timber for the external planking - I must have bought a good 30 packs of their mahogany timber and out of the 30 packs there must have only been about 5 lengths of timber I couldnt use because of grain fault....cant remember now if there were 10 or 20 in each pack  ;) but I tell you what Ive still got a boat load left  ;D OVER-CALCULATION on one of my senior moments  8)

Their plamk-on frame period kits are excellent.
I've built HMS Diana and am just starting their HMS Victory.

If it's a slightly smaller period boat you're after , HMS Fly ( Victory Models) is also an excellent kit

As well as the wide range of scale models, John also manufactures (under licence) the range of Aeromarine circuit racing/offshore hulls as well as a complete range of hardware to kit them out.  The hulls are GRP and good quality (and not TOO expensive :))
The showroom is part of his factory and, as he does quite a few shows, a phone call is advised before a visit.
The website is good for scale information, but the "Power Boat" section has been 'under construction' for YEARS :-\
Good bloke, knows his stuff, but don't tell him I recommended him - he'll charge you more!!  ;D
