Mountfleet models Danny Boy
« on: December 15, 2010, 10:22:22 pm »

Hi All
got an early Xmas pressy of the good lady.  " Mountfleet`s Danny Boy."
Can Any body give me some help as to which motor, prop, speed controller ,e.t.c. to use please. I`d like to make a good job of the model, not to let the wife down, then she might think about another model for my birthday???

 Thanking you all in anticipation.

A freind of mine is building the same model at present he has fitted a T12 from mobile mariner in his, no esc yet but im sure someone may recommend a decent match.

its a large 3 bladed prop at 70mm i belive ( guessing here as i assumed one came in the kit)  so you will need a beefy motor to move the beast. :-)) suggest the prop shop for decent brass props.

Hi Roadrunner
                  Thank you for your reply.
sounds good to me, its a start I`m in no rush to build her, as I have another model on the go, at the moment.
