Sheffield Ship Model Society Fun Day

Our first Fun Day of the year is on Sunday 17th April between 10.30am and 4.00pm. at
Millhouses Park, Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield, S7 2QQ
Come along, bring your own boat if you like and try our Steering Course, or maybe you are new to model boating and want to 'Have-a-go' with the Club's own model boat.
Frequency Control in operation. All boats must obtain a 'free frequency' unless on 2.4ghz.
There will be a Tombola, Face Painting for the kids (and adults if you like).
During the afternoon you will be able to 'buy-a-junk' for a £1 and race it across the lake. Winner takes proportion of the pot and receives a Certificate.
Millhouses Park has a fabulous Cafe, Toilets, including Disabled and large play areas for children plus riverside walk.

Unfortunately I be working on Sunday, but I
would like to pop over for one when I have a

HI Graham. Sadly the members of Kirklees Model Boat Club that travels to away events will be attending the Marine Model Expo hosted by Leeds Bradford Club this weekend. We hope the day go's well for you.The weather forcast is looking very good. I am sure that some of our members will be attending the October event.
