Chasewater Pool - re open - for model boats !
« on: January 08, 2011, 06:19:48 pm »

I visited the site this afternoon and have good news for all our members and fellow users of the  Chasewater model boat pool.
The ice has all but gone now, apart from one piece about 20ft in diameter.
So provided you steer clear of this, alls ok.

One word of warning, due to the bad weather of late, the pool wildfowl numbers have increased over the past few weeks, so plenty of floating markers to  steer a careful path through.

HAPPY SAILING 2011 !

Titanic's are welcome, providing the owners not going to demand full speed during the hours of darkness, you "should" survive the ice [ha ha].

Yes, for all of our club members who haven't seen our website this week yet,

Saturday afternoon club sailing meet is ON !

Obviously "weather permitting" but it will only be rain thats will be the stopper this time.

Club sail meet starts about 2pm.

Tuesday afternoon meets begins around 1pm, just for those lucky enough to have time off in the week !

Will be taking my Egrete pusher tug for its inaugural sailing and the Sun tug will be there as backup [ha ha]
