well, Dave....that's on it's way......Dave Metcalf is supplying the Mouldings for a twin of the one in those pics above for you and Russ to work on........I'll supply you with the fittings I have cast.

Just upto you two to settle on a date, that russ knows between and then we can get cracking and publicise it for sponsorship...........I'll do that if you wish.

no its not dave......we've had some milder weather, but it's salt water anyway...so has to be very prolongued cold to freeze.
it has it's pros and cons.

Hooray......Dave finally managed some sailing today. The weather kept threatening rain and was windy at times but they managed to get some boats on the water!   He got his Solent Class Lifeboat on the water for the first time and was very happy with her maiden voyage. Looking forward to Sunday now!

Nice to see a Solent I feel this is one of the better looking lifeboats. I always enjoy sailing mine. Is a bit of a cumbersome beast with
its origanal rudders. Still a lot of these Aerokit models around. Must have sold well. John.
