ANTON GAS VALVES. INSTRUCTIONS NEEDED.
« on: January 17, 2011, 12:20:45 pm »

Does anybody have the instructions for these Anton gas valves:
ANTON: REGULATEUR DE GAZ BI-MEMBRANE
ANTON: VANNE COUPE GAZ AUTOMATIQUE AUTONOME

Thank you in advance for the help!
Cheers,

Giovanni,

Anton gas valves here http://fabrice.bretagne.perso.neuf.fr/

Perhaps Fabrice Bretagne would provide instruction sheets?

Good evening!
Hello Mog8.
Anton gives detassl & explanations sheet with the regualtor or valves , he sells.
I shall try to get drawings and pass them to you, if this is what you need.

But from now: the bi-membrane regulator is used as a regular one. There no difference in the work itself. Just an extra membrane on top (gas side). This brings an extra barriere in case the membrane between gaz and boiler's pressure tears off.

The difference between a regular shut off valve and an automatic (vanne coupe gaz automatique autonome) is:
The standard one needs an extra gas line to supply the burner until the pre-set pressure is achieved in the boiler (+/- 1/2 bar)
When the pressure is enough , you shut off this extra gas line and the burner is now supplied through the "shut off" valve.
The other one does not need an extra line. You have to hold the "mechanism" until the pressure is reached inside the boiler. When the pressure is enough, it stands by itself.
If the pressure drops. the mechanism is released and cut the gas supply to the burner.
Hope of beeing of some help! %%
Regards. ok2

Hello KBIO,
thank you for the help so far, yet valves diagrams and illustrations will strongly support your explaination, as there are three connection points for each valve!
I have bought these valves on ebay, darn expensive, yet still worth the price, and without instruction sheet.

Hello Mog8! :-)
I'll see tomorrow if I can get the original drawing and send copy to you.
What I can say is:
a)- on the left of the photo, the two items are linked together and receive the boiler pressure.
-b)(I need confirmation as I am not sure but) on the right side of both, you need to link the two ends together.
The gaz enters top/right. It comes out on the right and goes right side of the second item (regulator) , then it comes out on top side towards the burner.
I understand, it is a bit confusing , but I won't let you down and I come back tomorrow w/ everything! ok2
Regards! :-))

Hello Giovanni,
I tried to use the internet translation button for the Anton website but it does not translate to English.
Can you help me please translate.
I love their products and would consider buying.
I am embarrased to say that I am Italiano/French but only have very limited understanding of the French language since growing up in the USA.
Kind Regards,
Ciao!

Good morning! :-)
Giovani is enjoying some sun in an exotic country and would be glad to sort out your problem, I am sure. O0
In the mean time, I can help translating or explain ANTON products as I am also an inconditional in term of reliabilty and performance.
So , Sunworksco, do not hesitate to ask me in MP, mail, or here for the others to take advantage of it! ;)
All the best and cheers! :-))
