Millbrook Model Mariners & Torpoint Community College Are Hosting There The First Annual Model Exhibition.
Date- Saturday 25th June 2011
Location- Torpoint Community College
Times- 10am till 5pm
Entry- £2 per adult ( over 16s) £1 for children (under 16)
Lot's of parking available down the school drive, and opposite in the car park!
We are now fully booked! We can confirm 9 model boat clubs in attendance, and a few local solo Individuals who model but are not club members, Plymouth heli's will be attending with there interactive flight sim and will be putting on various displays through out the day pending on the weather, Graham and Tilly of the Clyde Puffer Exhibition will be there, along with Model Marine International Magazine!
There will also be other exhibits on display from live steam engines and trucks, trains, and the 102 Panzar group who are bring up there field gun, hospital tent and other paraphernalia of the 2nd world war ( and to guard the entrance
)
There will also be food and drinks available to the public ranging from cakes to pasties, sandwiches and many other yummy's! ( food is also held back for exhibitors prior to public opening)
This is a charity event all moneys raised on the door and from the raffle will be split and donated between 'Help For Heros', 'Mount Edgcumbe Hospice' (our clubs charity this year) And a few others which are the schools charity's. Each club is also invited to collect for there own charity's on the day via there collection pots.
