Does anyone collect these model vehicles ? I once colected these and have about 50 remaining, some boxed and some not, I have tried various websites to see their value but cannot find anything to give me any price.

Maybe someone on this forum collects them as they do make a lovely display and could give me advice where to go to to sell them.

I have every "Yesteryear" sold on the open market (as opposed to promotionals/specials) with the exception of horse drawn and railway engines.  This includes all the colour/logo variations. All though the rarer ones are still sought after, the "everyday" versions are now generally worth less than when they were new. There are some diecast collector magazines around which will give you some addresses of dealers, but I doubt you are going to be able to retire on the proceeds!

I have about 100 Lledo models all packed away and not on display anymore, some are form the old Lledo members club, I keep thinking I might just take them up to my local charity shop and get rid of them all. I used to have a couple of the Yesteryear but in colours they were not produced in, I brought them from a guy who worked at Matchbox as a toolmaker these were all trials before the model went into production.

Thanks Rick & Brian, I had a dabble on ebay and saw the prices were very low, far lower than i paid 

So I think I might buy (or even read in the shop !) a copy of Diecast collectors magazine to get an idea, a few are 'promotional' ones (6 I think are RNLI) so I will wait and decide what to do with them.

   About every oct, nov,
 either Model car collector  model Diecast collector  publish a book about £8 last one I got tells you all the prices  for all the makes, Corgi matchbox and all the other makes you,ed get it from WHsmiths.

Thanks Sentry, I believe I might have seen that before, I will pop down to WHS during the week to see if they have a copy of last years publication
