Torpedo Boat Plans
« on: February 10, 2011, 03:44:39 pm »

I've always had a fascination for MTB's. Could someone please point out threads/locations from where I may be able to glean some free downloads of plans? I am particularly interested in the Schellboot, PT Boats and Vospers and would love to try building something about a metre in length. I already have the MAS 562 plans, anything else available as a freebie?

Cheers!

like you i have always had a fascination for mtbs you can do loads with them put hooters and sonar in for a boy of my age (12) there perfect because their fast , agile and have weapons

but to me they are just added bonuses i like adding bits putting extra rigging on when i get money it will be spent on my mtb like i just put sand bags around the bridge and some on the gun i got a fairly expensive but effective navigation lights port and starboard and got a separate bulb to go up the mast

Dear Krafty,

That sounds awesome! Would love to see some pictures. Would you be able to post some here? Btw, how did you make the sand bags and to what scale?

Regards,

they were made out of epoxy putty (milliput)

i just made them a bit bigger than the crews heads (not the toilets)as there also called heads on a ship         and of course they were  mattress sand bags     (flat sand bags)

there not as good as the ones on my tank as the ones on my boat were the first one i did they wernt to brilliant but affter a couple of bags they look brilliant(or i think so at least{-)) i will try to get some pics on
