hear are a couple of working ones I did a few years ago they are at 1/32  so a bit smaller they have not had the final polish but the camera at this magnification shows up scratches and makes them in to ruts, both where eventually painted and was a liverpool hitch and the other for a fire boat both worked as per plans there is a small cam on the fireboat one that realises the hook t swivel when the lever is lifted

Yours are looking just wonderfull and so is the part off the tug one of them is mounted on.
I would love to see a picture from that tug.
