Vosper MTB

Just been given a part built Vosper MTB hull in fibreglass. It was started by an old bloke I know sometime in the seventies. It is approx 37" long and made of stern stuff. The engine has walked although if it turns up he will pass that on too. It had a Frog diesel fitted, homemade fuel tank and the stern shaft, rudder and cooling scoops are fitted.

The only other thing with it is the deck, cut from thin ply but a bit worse for wear. I will add photos as soon as I get the chance, maybe a week or so. I have no idea of the manufacturer and the only plans are a faded line drawing of a Vosper MTB with no author's details on.

I feel like using this hull to build a pseudo RAF rescue launch, maybe not all that accurate but something like. I might also try to track down an authentic Frog motor if the original doesn't come to light.

One more on the list of projects!

Pictures of the new boat. Anyone recognise the hull manufacturer?

Some more views. I forgot to take a side on view though. The boat has teardrop shaped wooden fairings on the sides where the engine exhausts and coolant outlet emerge.

Any ideas regarding hull origin? I would be interested to know.
