Anyone tried a "REPRAP"

Looks interesting and with kits available on ebay for a few hundred  could be quite a lucrative little sideline

I was wondering if anyone has bought or know much about them?

Fascinating technology. One of the members on U.S.  RCGroups has had some model boat items made using a commercial version from Netherlands. I`ll pass this on as he is the kind of fellow that might build the DIY shown here. Thanks Essex

Im thinking seriously about buying one.  Logic being that I could make some parts for others and recoup the cost

A machine that has enormous potential As development continues it will become far more versatile. It opens
up the possibility of making Boat   hulls  superstructures, fittings etc. This to me is one to watch. When it
has advanced more. I would invest in one. John.
