The Yangtse Incident all filmed on the rivers Orwell and Stour in Suffolk. The chinese Field gunners were the boys from HMS Ganges
and the ship used for the film was HMS Amethyst before she was disposed of, but she was not operational so the filming was done on her
but the moving shots of her were filmed on HMS Magpie.  HMS Teazer played the parts of Concord and Contest before she went off the
be converted to an A/S frigate.
Good film.

A while back I watched a film about WW2 rescue tugs, a bit hazy on the title, but I think it was called "The Key"
Then (again a bit hazy on accuracy) "Corvette K266" with the great Randolf Scott.  Who did collect the legendary "only a flesh wound" towards the end.

I would advise everyone to avoid Pearl Harbor! Or at least fast forward through the first 60 minutes, enjoy the excellent miniatures of Battleship Row, wince at the Spruance Class Destroyers being pyro'ed, question why the Japanese Fleet shots are 'slightly 'doctored shots of a modern US Carrier Group ( if you can do that, why not do it right?), I could go on...
Suffice to say, the above recommendations by others stand the test of time, 'Pearl Harbour Sucks....'

And just as an aside, HMS TEAZER also starred in Norman Wisdoms "The Bulldog Breed" in 1958 whilst Captain F2 at Portland.
