DANGEROUS CHINESE BATTERY CHARGER
« on: May 11, 2011, 11:30:28 am »

Following my comments on the battery charger I purchased from Ebay, I enclose some photos of the item, and the result. In my opinion these are DANGEROUS,and could cause a fire, so should not be used. Thanks.

MARTIN, please post this in all categories you think fit ? Thanks.

No I havent reported this to e bay,as I cannot find the appropriate section to do so.I have however contacted the seller, and at his request sent him these photos.I doubt if I will get a refund,as his terms state "return within 7 days" and it took longer than that to receive them, and then to test them.My pal who is an electroniks engineer, took them apart to find out what went wrong, and he says how they did not catch fire is beyond belief.

Not too long ago some of the lads in the armoury here at the base bought chinese RC helicopters off ebay. They took them into work to have a play at teabreak, charged them up and burned down the armoury.

These things can be lethal!
