make this landing gear system at home...
« on: May 29, 2011, 10:34:05 am »

Good after noon all of my Friends...to me it was a great astonishment, as a team of engineering students approached to make landing gear for a static craft in a stand...its a great wonder to me, that a group of final year aeronautical engg students are very unable to make a device like this at ease...so i started my work...at beginning i decided to go with jacks for this...then changed my mind in to more simple devices...

and yes this is intended main unit, as port and starboard...the craft is completed and waiting for the fixation...you can see how simple it is...and yes it will be even more easier, if i hold a professional 4 channel radio system with me...so, if you have any idea to make a landing gear system, just use three heavy duty servos, for actuation...

yes sure, here the working videos....its nice...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lu05Pv67fYA

Nice solution Krishna, what you have to realise is that todays "Engineers" don't have to know how it works, just that it does and "Where can we buy one"?

The cheque book rules in so many applications. %)

We've been over and over this so no need to rake up the coals again, there's nothing to be gained.
Gullible, embarrassment, duped, suckers, credulous, easily taken in, easy mark, falling hook line and sinker, foolish, green,
mark, taken in, hook line sinker,duped..... take your pick and we'll move on.

Krishna is obviously a skilled modeller so we'll forget the rest of the historical attached baggage and enjoy someone
 sharing their passion and kills.

Any further comments on this matter will just be removed.  Martin - Admin

Good work on the landing gear (ignoring the school children who have to say their 2p)

What aircraft is it going to be on? looks sort of MiG-ish to me?
