Finally.

Well I finally did it. After an absence of 13 years from model boat building I now have an allotted workbench/building area. i did start some projects in the interim period but a lot was sold off incomplete as I was building on the dining table or coffee table and couldn't leave builds out to pick up when I had 5 min spare. Last night I finished making a workbench so in teh next few weeks i will start my Tid Tug and carry on with my Deans PBR I am modifying.

I have uploaded photos of my various part builds and semi kits to Flickr. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lumpy_golightly/sets/72157594565969992/

I also have a number of plans lined up including the official RNLI Thames and Brede plans that I have held for 16 years.

On a different tack, about 6 - 8 years ago I sold up a load of models and plans in Model boats. Most of it went to a chap from the north east that I met up with in Brough as I lived in Kendal at the time. Part of those plans were the Model Boats plans of the Al Khubar. Can anyone sell me a copy of those plans as I would like to have another crack at them. Incidentally there were some Seaforth Conqueror Plans there as well. BlueBird is that where your plans came from  ;)  Bit of a coincidence albeit a large one.

Regards
Clive :)
