evening all

Just to say greetings to everyone on the site...loads good info for me to read :}

Ex heli pilot and having a try at doing boats....got a 49 ins perkasa.. bit of a basket case needs loads tlc ...first boat ...

I have a 2nd hand, 1/24th scale , it is just the fiberglass hull and the main superstructure, I have cut a deck from 6mm marine ply so it is starting to look a bit more the part now. Hull needs some glass filler as it has a few dints and scratches and I have had to make one bulkhead up to know

Got a few pics on camera will try to post them up over the weekend

The Gresford Model Boat Club are having their annual Open Day on Sunday, if you're free come along and have a look and I'm sure you'll find something of interest and plenty of model boat nutters to talk to!
