How long is a piece of string you may as well ask.

The value of an object is subjective, it may cost £50 in materials (ignoring labour costs to build) but be worth £500 . Conversely it may cost £200 in materials but only be worth £100 to other people.

So it's worth only what you are happy to pay.

I have been watching the price that Solents make on E Bay The one on there at the moment is making very good money.Pictures sadly can mislead, usually making things appear better than the are.Ive seen solents sell for less than £100 actually £85 .Personally id not pay more than £250.But E Bay is very variable. If two buyers get hooked in a bidding race then who knows.Price is also determined by whats fitted.Motors Shafts Props, brass or plastic escs Etc. ood luck when you sell. John.

Daveorgan,

I refer you to rule #3 in the Sales Board Rules -

3. Ebay listings are not to be duplicated here without prior consent of a moderator.

Do you have that consent??

So you can link to other peoples' listing but not your own?

And with a roar of thunder the heavens opened and the lightning came down.  And they could see that the Gods of Mods were not pleased and showed their displeasure.

Actually I have never got this either.  You can put a link to every other sale on ebay but your own listing is 'sort of he who shall not be named'?  So presumably if another mayhem person sees it and puts a link on it 'under seen a bargain' its okay because your promoting a non mayhemmer or a mayhemmer that isnt yourself?  So basically I can list a model on ebay and it can be promoted on here as long as some other mayhemmer other than me promotes it.  Run that past me again as I dont get it.  If ebay self promotion is banned then surely all promotion of ebay goods should be banned surely?

If rule 3 actually is as written:

then why is there a long running thread seen a bargain on ebay?  Do we have to have consent from a moderator before contributing to that thread?

funtimefrankie & mikearace ...sometimes in life we as individuals tend to think that Laws are  %%

But Laws are Laws ....& without Laws we would end up with....yes you guessed it MAYHEM  {-)

I tend to think that the WEB site creator & owner .....'Martin' either consulted the Aztecs of the 'Wensmensister' system....or spent years in GOAL   :police: ...studying the same pieces of legislation  %)

But Laws are Laws .... they are for the good of the community = we members .......  .....thank you Martin  :-))........Derek  :-X

As this had already been dealt with by Martin, was there any need for any further Moderation ?.
