fittings set for a steam drifter/trawler
« on: July 07, 2011, 01:10:18 am »

Hello folks
I am currently trying to build a 1/32nd model of a steam drifter/trawler on a grp hull I bought years ago, I am looking for a suitable set of fittings (at a reasonable price) for this model which is based on the steam drifters/trawlers built around 1912/13 in my case, and some served as minesweepers with the Royal Navy I believe. I seen a set of fittings for a similar trawler kit produced by Graupner but it is unfortunately now discontinued, I wonder if any fellow member knows of where I may obtain a set of similar suitable fittings, my model is called the "Pride "O" Fife"
Thanks all the best,John.

i believe that MOUNTFLEET MODELS will sell sets of fittings for their steam drifter Danny Boy and for their armed steam drifter, but haven't a clue as to what price. they are full sets though with many fittings.
