I would hazard a guess that it would depend on what time of year. I know he was snowed under this last winter...Not literally that is...

Hi folks,

May I add my name to your list of satisfied customers of Mike Abbott. Great to deal with and always ready to meet reasonable requests which also recognise safe working practice; and reasonably priced. I have all three of his boiler sizes and he also made me gas tank to which I made and added my own valves. Thoroughly recommended.

Best regards, Fred Graham

Mike is an exceptional master of the Black art of Boiler making and all things Steam, so if ever one gets stuck it is always worth emailing him for a suggestion and solution to one's dilemma.
Excellent workmanship throughout and a pleasure to have him in our company of steam suppliers.

Keep it up Mike.

Glad to see all these comments on Mike, as I ordered a boiler to him! :-))
To be honest, I knew before, the quality of his boilers and his disponibility. ;)
only problem for us on the continent: no métric connections.
But i'll survive! O0
Cheers! :-)

Hi YES,
Mike has made a couple of Boilers, and his work is first class, he's very keen to help Steamers,
He made me a boiler for my Topaz as MH&b boiler price was to heavy for my pocket,

A true master of the craft of model boilermaking, I have one of his 3.5 inch horizontals, wonderfull bit of kit, and over £150 cheaper than the slightly smaller ones from Australia advertised in Model Boats mag. :-)) :-)) :-))
