Dolls house furniture?
« on: May 19, 2006, 08:37:05 pm »

Does anyone know of a UK supplier for 1:16 scale dolls house furniture? Dolls houses are generally made in 1:12 1:16 and 1:24 scales, I can find furniture for 1:12 and 1:24, but nothing for 1:16..... Can anyone help so I can add an interior to a model without having to resort to making everything myself?

Regards

Eddy, at the MB-forum we have had a lad there: Fred Steer who was doing and selling such furnitures. But I wonder what his adress is...... (damned Alzy- still keeps me running at the GOP or BOF-section).

Thanks guys,

I've checked Hobbys and Hobbycraft, neither of them do what I'm after :-(

J?rg (or anyone else), do you have a contact address for Fred Steer so I can give him a try?

What are you looking for in 1/16 scale furniture?  I've built a lot of my own, when push comes to shove, such as tables and chairs, some shelves, table lamps, floor lamps.  I had a Santa's workshop that I built a lot of things for, such as a hutch, a sink, stove etc,  I even went so far as to build an operating wall switch once, for lighting.  Given a wide berth for time, I might be able to help, even tho the hands are getting a little shakey, or I might be able to direct you to what you want.

Did some looking, here in the U.S. and found some places.

"Minimum World"  and Oak Ridge Hobbies. These are just a few of many.  Just hit the internet and search "1/16 scale furniture".
