hi guys and girls has anybody built the above boat kit did you llke it would you buy another one would you reccomend as a first model sorry didnt know where else to post this also im new here

hi everyone newbie here:} looking to do my first model boat kit was looking at the pacific balsa challenger heres a link to one  http://alshobbies.com/shop/lookupstock.php?pc=46639 unfortunately no one seems to have ever built or reviewed one so don't know weather to buy one or not so what I'm asking whats a great beginner model boat for a first timer post a link additional info Ive built free flight wooden planes before so I'm assuming this will be a doddle :}

This kits a very much "pool" models as they are quite small.
Easy enough to build but don't except too much in the way of performance.

Great first / practice build model.  :-)

This boat is out of the same stable as the Pacific Balsa / Aeroflyte - Dictator which was built , remodelled and remade by steamboatbob on this forum back in September 2009.

Here’s the link to his build – the way he upgraded it I would say not a beginners boat but shows what can be done when pushed to the limit.

You may find some of his adaptations useful. Seems it can be made to go pretty quick. You don’t have to go the whole hog like Bob

should have it for friday or saturday any tips for a first time boat builder on anything painting sanding building finishing laying plans out how to stop your boat getting stuck to the plan
