Quick question chaps...
« on: August 17, 2011, 07:54:37 am »

I need to charge this battery pack...six sub-c cells, 7.2v 1600a/h

With this charger...variable output.

The charger has the following outputs marked on it: 50-80-120-180-240-300

What would be the best setting to put the charger on to recharge the battery pack? Anyone assist me with this?

Thanks chaps,

Rich

Assuming that the numbers are mA, then 120 for a very safe long charge, 180 for a fairly safe long (but not quite as long) charge.  Full whack if you intend and manage to keep a close eye on it toward the end of the charge time.  Battery is a 1600mAH, 1/10 of that is 160mA, so 10 hours at that plus a bit for luck, i.e. overnight.
