it was a cold night..i was standing on the deck of Life boat,and was dreaming with my dreams..suddenly my radio man shouted..Sir..its an SOS..within seconds we got an alert from south base..River cat..R114, this is an SOS message..a craft is stranded in raging river at the longitude of 11.3 and latitude 3.2..three people are in this craft..and sinking fast..over..

this is River cat R114,and we are on the marque..scanning for traces..now locked..

two of Griffon engines roared in its full potential..and the craft jumped over water with a great thud..and flies..rpm meter needle turned to maximum level..intake and exhaust resonation was competing each other..two of the engines roared like angry lions..within seconds we reached the sinking boat..the powerful crane arm secured the crewmen..and happy moments..words from Capt Robert smith..( oh..was dreaming..)

Friends..all those words is my imagination..but we can simply imagine the sheer courage and dedication of the people serving the RNLI, and it was my long dream, to realize a Life boat, after seeing the Tamar class life boat.so this is the time of realization of my big dream..but a little sad, because i took almost 12 to 14 days to complete this craft instead of 6 or 7 days..after starting..wasn't lazy..but busy with my works..

so i started as usual..laminated thermocol sheets..

she is powered by a reworked 6 volts motor, and a 3.5 Kg STD servo, for rudder actuation..

and next fig showing the hand made prop, along with kort nozzle, and rudder panel..

after completing the hull i turned to super structure..all it made out of foam board, and seasoned paper..

all window channels were made from drawing paper..and painted with aluminum paint..

now time to painting..all paints are inexpensive enamel paints..no any costly paints are used here..all colour scheme are based on real craft...

all hinges were made of seasoned paper..and painted with aluminium paint..

life rafts and bin are made from paper rolls..and seasoned..

smoothing corners with emery paper..and adding details..

i added some white clay powder and aluminum powder to paint to get a smooth slurry surface..

i added some kum kum pwder to paint to get industrial yellow..and is on..

for more realism i added all working wipers with craft..by reworking on two micro servos,by electronically and mechanically, for either clockwise or counter clockwise, continuous, used here to drive all wipers, and the servos were connected to the 5th and 6th channels of radio, so, can control the speed of the wiper from 0 to maximum..or in desired position..

all wiper arms were made of drawing paper, and seasoned to avoid any damage by water or moisture..and painted in aluminum paint..

after finishing, me and my ship and aeromodelling students took her for a test run..i placed her in a sea canal..

with a 6 volts 2500mA battery pack, she is faster even on windy wavy water..
