So why the Fuss? If you buy one of the Graupner "Premium" models of the Bismark, Hood and co, they will cost you over a Grand, and you have an out of the box model, which doesn't have the satisfaction of building her yourself, and adding extra detailing etc, just something assembled by some young lady or man sitting at a bench in China, getting a Peanut wage, and earning profits for the Middlemen.Mind you, you will have to charge the batteries and switch it on, so I suppose it isn't Ready to Run.

Not strictly true according to our club chairman a devout scratch builder.

I purchased one of the First Graupner Hoods to come into the UK from Modelworld , cost me £850 , needed some extra detailing but basically a very nice model and goes well at SWA exhibitions alongside my other warship models which are scratchbuilds . I needed to be able to get it in my car , initially considered the Fleetscale one but it was too big and would have cost a lot more in the end . also I wanted a 1941 specification and Fleetscale plan is "as built 1920"

I started my subscription from issue 2, they, (issue 2 & 3), arrived about 2-1/2 weeks ago.  It tells you on the front page what issues are in which delivery, depending on which issue you start your subscription from.

Just checked and...

If you start with issue 1, please note that you will receive issue 1 with the 1st delivery and with the 2nd delivery you will receive 2 issues (1 FREE) and the above FREE gifts.
