Can someone tell me what ABS is as a building material, whats its proper name?

Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)

It's like Plasticard but stronger ... and more difficult to glue!

Thanks for that, no wonder they just call it ABS. Now I will go and find out how to stick it tigether.

Plasweld, same as MEK.

They both do the same job, but Plasweld's not the same as MEK.

Stabilit Express and a good Superglue ( Cyanoacrylate! ) will also work.
 Roughen up the surfaces first.
