Hello folks
Have any fellow members had a go at building the "Margoletta Broads Cruiser" featured in the Model Boats Construction Special published a few months ago ?. If anyone has built this model I would appreciate any help or advice on motor selection etc, I note that the author states  that he used a speed 400 motor, any advice on the build would be appreciated, also if anyone can tell me where to buy a three blade 30mm plastic prop to suit this model would be a great help.

I bought left and right handed, 30 mm., 3 blade plastic props from Cornwall Model Boats a couple of moths ago.

Hi Brian & John,

I would whole heartedly recommend John's 400 motor and prop assy for such a perfectly displaced Broads Cruiser hull of that size and displacement. Indeed we are using similar for our Herbert Wood's 'Light Class' Broads cruiser R/C kits due out in 2012.
