Hello :)
« on: November 09, 2011, 06:57:37 pm »

Hello!  :-)

My name is Kristoffer, I am 19 years old and I come from Norway. I just finished my first model boat the Billing boats Banckert and I have to admit it was a very fun project even tho it was difficult at times. I just registered here and have been reading a couple of threads and im very impressed by all the good information and all the cool models boats on here.

Just looked it up on the map, pretty far north. Got any pictures of your boat ?  Some pics of the midnight sun when it happens or the Northern Lights would be nice too :D

Thanks all for the nice comments! :)

Yeah, I live above the arctic circle so its pretty far north in the country.

I'm sure i got over 1000 pictures of the sunsets and stuff like that, but i can post this one which i took a couple of hours ago.

And here is the boat, bear in mind it's my first one  :-) I customized a bit on the roof as I wanted it to look a bit more modern than on the original model.

what motor and esc is that?

Motor is Robbe Roxxy Brushless 800k
Esc, electric speed controller? If so, Robbe Roxxy 18A for brushless engine.
Also running a Robbe 7,4 volts 5000mAh LiPo Battery.

Also had to get a 40mm brass propeler for this setup :-)
