warwick show...
« on: November 13, 2011, 10:30:20 am »

Went to the warwick show yesterday, and typically forgot half the bits I needed to get. But while there, I was looking at some models but forgot to make a note of the company name, so was wondering if anyone could help. On the stand it was mostly (if not all) old style wooden speed boats, and there was a model of 'bluebird' and a 'ferrari' powerboat. Does anybody know the stand I'm talking about, would be great to have a name to google thanks.

Overall the show was really good though, the 1st model boat show I've been to, and I'll definitely be going to more, got some good glue from MMB and a couple of motors and mounts from ACTion, only had £50, pre-planning so i didn't get carried away and buy any more kits! Forgot to take any photos but I really liked the model of 'HMS Canada' and a big model of 'HMS Dreadnaught'. I could've spent thousands!!!!!

Yes, I think that stand was 'Premium Woodcraft' if I remember rightly  :-)

Here you go, found it on the net:

Thanks, they're the 1's, a bit out of my price range at the moment but would be something nice to save up for sometime in the future.
