WALLASEY MODEL BOAT SOCIETY WILL BE HOLDING A FUND RAISING EVENT ON THE 19th AUG 2012.

Shame really As I would probably have gone as well., I havent' put the Convention details up yet as was going to leave it until the new year , but will put details up later this evening..

couldn't wallaseys be put back or forward for a week? There's plenty of time and i think Haydock might take some of the shine from the fund raising, a lot of local people will be there.

Might have a point there, I didn't realise it was same weekend as the other show at first. All the guys from the LBES (Lifeboat Enthusiasts Society) will be set up and staying near Haydock I guess so I doubt they'll be able to pop over. Like said above I can't see potential visitors doing both in same day?? May be worth considering weekend either side of current one planned? Dave.  {:-{

Hi All, Just to let you all know that up to now i have received the following donations in support of the life boat event.

1/ Gift from Tomi toys LTD.

1/ Gift From Playmobil LTD.

1/ Banner From H.F.E. Signs LTD. ( To help Promote the life boat event.)

1/ Our Lass 2 ( Model Slipway Kit) Still in the box, Received From a Gentleman in the wirral.


It just goes to show people do appreciate what the life boat do. And our thanks go out to all.

The closest postcode for the lake is for Morrison's supermarket almost adjacent. It is CH45 2PB.

Hi All, Just a reminder of the R.N.L.I. fund raising event we are holding on the 19th Aug. We are now at the stage of asking individuals or clubs if you can confirm that they will come and support this great cause. The more people that can bring lifeboats the better.
