KINGS LYNN CUSTOMS HOUSE
« on: November 24, 2011, 09:41:32 am »

This  is a model at 1/30th  scale of one of our local landmarks, on the bank of the river  (Great Ouse)  here in Norfolk.  It was designed by Henry Bell,   and was opened in  1685 to be used by local  merchants.   The  photos, some are taken  inside the Customs House in the Surveyors Room. The model is constructed in sections, and can be taken to pieces to be transported.

Thanks Malcolm, as I said, we like photos on here. As you will notice, photographs are actually necessary as 50% of the people on here cant read or write.

Hi Scout re Brian?   Yes i can take photos but not through the leaded light windows, it comes out all funny,to photo inside the roof it has six rooms in it, To see these you can  remove the roof panels, After lifting the top section with the viewing tower etc off,After this lift of  the base of roof,= top ceiling height, then you can remove the interior upstairs walls, or take of up to any three exterior  walls off, Some of the photos you can see screw heads  these are below pavment height, and are hidden  when fitted to other parts of  roadway  What i need is a endoscopy camera? to see inside   MALCOLM  is the correct  spelling of my name.
