Hello there. Has anyone built Latinas 42" Amsterdam Tug? If so, what is the quality of the kit like and how much ballast was needed to bring it down to the waterline?
Thanks,
Wes

Built one some time ago was quite good to build but it did need a lot of ballast to get her down to correct waterline , I used batteries as much as I could for ballast sailed well but always thought  it might be better with Kort nozel

Not built one but handled the kit out of the box at my local model shop. The owner of the shop is a keen and skillful builder and he rates Latina's quality highly. The kit we discussed looked to be of good quality with excellent wood and very good, well illustrated instruction book.
