Looks better and is better. I think in their catalogue they've got photos of the machine room set-up. Very impressive. BY.

Red Bank Models used to sell these, and Wingertaz on eBay.

I have purchased several different boat bits already from suppliers in the U/K. The parts I must say are first class all the way & very reasonable prices too. I wonder what their U/K suppliers will think of them selling direct to the public, it may cause them a few headaches, I hope not. I would recommend these to anyone both for quality & price. Mick B.

Remember, you have import duties after a certain Value, expensive shipping, Communication issues ... so maybe best buy from UK and support the hobby in the UK? That way you get the best of both... I should say that I'm Bias as i import them & supply them in the UK

Hi Kim, I am with you on that point, if you can buy from your regular supplier at a reasonable price do that, that contributes to a healthy hobby, chasing the lowest price is sometimes a race to the bottom, not a good way to do business in the long run. We sometimes forget all the free help & advice we get from our local hobby suppliers. I must say that having bought some of these bits from U/K suppliers the markup seems VERY reasonable, plus the no hassle service I got into the bargain. Mick B.

Mick, your sort of attitude should be encouraged ...
Better still if we could produce in our own Country! ... I'm working on it :)

Hi there, can anyone point me in the direction of a UK supplier, as I to would much rather support a UK based company, I did not realise there were any, so apologies if I have inadvertently 'given the game away' so to speak. :embarrassed:

If its a UK supplier you want then take a look at my site shop . The  fittings I generated and  now supply to modellers  are the same as I fit on my own models for Museums and Collectors  all over the World.

I have seen RB Fittings at shows on Deans Marine and Modelling Timbers stands.  Their websites:

http://www.modellingtimbers.co.uk/9.html

http://www.deansmarine.co.uk/shop/index.php/cPath/1

Hope the above helps.

I just checked the prices on Deans for the RB fittings, I would suggest you buy from the RB web site, check the prices. They are also available @ Cornwall Model Boats & other suppliers @ very reasonable prices. Some suppliers are not too smart. What else do we get over charged for ?. Mick B.

I should correct something here ,Deans prices are O/K it is just that you have to buy 10 at any one time, they may sell you one or two if you asked though. Mick B.
