Resurrected Sirmar do a Clyde in 1\48, hull getting on over 67", Cottesmore in 1\48, hull 49". They also do other ships in 1\96 ie type 42, B1\2\3, County class in 1\96 with a 65" hull etc

Billing Absalon at 1.38 metres http://www.billingboats.com/rc-kits.html

Nice looking stealth type modern warship but not sure how good or bad the build quality is - never built a billing before.

Also Ark Model from China but how good the purchase experience is I have no idea but some people have done it.

Modern warships from uk manufacturers
Fleetscale and Sirmar

If going further a field
There is APS in Australia
Scale shipyard in the US
And another company in Canada

All these companies sell semi kits

Who I use is as follows:

Scale Shipyard  http://www.scaleshipyard.com/
Hull, Plans come together. Fittings can be bought as a package for the ship type. Also has motors and motor mounts that can also be bought.

Home Port Models  http://www.homeportmodels.com/
Provides superstructures and deck that are laseretched into what is called Gator Board

Radios and other electronics can be bouht from who ever you want to buy them from.

Props you have Prop Shop and a few others that you can use, or build your own prop(s).

Sirmar sell what's called a semi kit. There was a massive debate on here about what a semi kit is so Im not going to go there.

If you buy all the parts to build the model from Sirmar at the same time, it's almost a kit except you would have to buy or make your own formers or bracing parts for the hull and maybe styrene sheet for the deck and superstructure.
