I have received an E.mail from Perkins customer service and they state that
their recent stock of Planet radios now have the original fail-safe where you can set the
position of the throttle to any position.
These updated receivers and any set box will have a green spot label to show that they are
this software version.
If I returned my R6M rx units with the full signal failsafe to them they will re-program them to
the original failsafe software for me.
But I would have to pay cost of return. Very Good customer service
