Beside modeling and archery and learning everything irrelevant
I do like history, but I didn't want to bother nobody with that.
But I just watched this video and I just wanted to share with you, because made me think:
we are bl..dy irrelevant as individuals and yet we can't live with each other.

Sorry about that. It was nice video.
It is shame -there are lots of things that can help with better understanding and learning on you tube,
but they become very fast with removing things.
With music and films -that I can somehow understand but documentaries,... :o It looks that someone wants people as stupid as it is possible :((

Absolutely fascinating 11 minute video clip showing the rapidly changing borders and political ownerships across Europe over 1000 years, most of it changing too fast to follow.

The huge changes over the the last three hundred years makes you wonder what would happen if all those territories were attempted to be 'reclaimed' through the UN like the Falklands and Gibraltar ?

I can't watch the Vid, but get the gist of what it is, I wonder how Germany would feel if they had to give back the big chunk of Luxemburg they stole, the bits of France and Schleswig Holstein that they took from the Danes?  Screams of Tradition and Culture would rent the air!

Saw a thought provoking quote some time ago. It ran alomg the lines of " history is written by the side that wins the battle"
Possibly truer in the past than in this day of instant news but..............
