hi i have just got a really old restoration 34inch huntsman made out of wood,the problem i have is trying to locate all the detail parts like the bow rail rear ladders roof rails and the list goes on can anybody help me locate theese parts.

im sure sombody told me you can buy a kit for around £70 for it but i cant remember who it was.

thanks bluebird just got off the phone to them they are going to do a detail kit for the huntsman for about £10 -£15 dont think thats bad got to ring back tomoz to find out what they are putting in the kit will post on here as soon as i find out once again cheers mate

Not started the build yet but I have been ammassing parts:-

1000kv 4240 Brushless outrunner
200A Water cooled ESC (Went for the biggest as Chinese amps are known to be smaller)
2x 6S 2800Mah lipos giving 5600Mah (left over from my trex 500)
4mm Balraced prop, with oiler
Futaba metal gear rudder servo (was the tail servo on my Caliber 3 helicopter)

A selction of plastic 2 and 3 blade props from 30 to 45mm

ive not managed to find many off the shelf detail parts for my own pair , hence have been making my own

both models use the grp hull , but have the cabins permently attached with removable sections for acsess to motors , control equipment and batteries !

right i have spoken again to anglia models he has asked me what people would like to be put in the detail kit so your feed back would be very helpful.
i have asked for theese items.
bow rail
cabin rails
cleets
rear ladder
anchor and chain
steering wheel
lamps
so if you can think of out else please let me know thanks.

then you could add , morse controls , dash clock set , pulpit / pushpit , stanchions . both types of air scoops , laser cut window frames , cockpit screen frame , mushroom vents etc all dependant what they are proposing to make these fittings from ? personally i dont like the white metal stuff thats available so wont use it , hence ive made most of my own parts including the polished alloy air scoops on my 31 ! jon

Red181 has a very nice Huntsman - he can also supply nice custom made air scoops.
I can't find the sales post to show you (it was there pre meltdown) - Try a PM - maybe he will still do them.

His scoops are too big for this kit... he has the 48" model

What planking do you guys reccomend for the deck?

Mine's the Precedent 34" but it's a total wreck at he moment.

I have just dropped the window frame parts off to be recut by cnc in light alloy and then polished (Local machine shop owes me a favor lol)
If they turn out OK and there's any interest in these then Ill see about getting a few sets made up

Also does anyone know where there is a good supplier of suitable deck furniture?

Sorry for Hijacking Jackos thread but I thought that the information is relevant to his build as well.

Ill start a build log this evening as I have started putting mine together

what is the distance from the transom to the propshaft entry point?
Using PM devlins settings of 23mm from keel to prop and prop 110mm from the transom
