Caldercraft make nice looking models.

Drawings and instructions are rubbish.

Not for the beginner.

My Milford Star build   http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=11732.0

Hope that helps.

I visited the Mountfleet stand at the Ellesmere Port Show (a cracking day out - venue - models - organized - everything really) and
I was really very impressed with their display models. The Boston Typhoon in particular - I'd like one; they had a nice Clyde Puffer too.

Which one have you ordered? I might have the instructions and plans for you to have a look at in advance.

Hi Darren

If you look at Michaels build you will see some image links that might help your detailing.
Someext to my post-meltdown alter ego of 'mckenzig' and also Michael has posted some too.
see http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=35237.0

Ken's Vliestroom build can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDDn9zey1cM
and you get his musical accompaniment too - if you turn the sound off an alarm goes off
and he moderates you O0 {-)

Darren,

Sorry Darren you did not leave a phone number but asked to be advised when the kit is ready by email to your hotmail address. Which we did on Sunday 13th May. Since you never replied the kit was sent this morning to the Dockyard Model Shop in Chatham.

We are only prepared to keep reserved kits for four days. The next batch will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks.

Regards
Jackie
