Superstructure/Cabin Lights
« on: April 25, 2012, 01:21:55 pm »

I'm building a 1/48 scale Flower Class Corvette, and have used LED's for Navigation lights, with a plug and socket connection from the main Battery, and an on/off switch.  This seems to be a bit of a cumbersome arrangement, and I was wondering how others work out power supply from a Battery in the Hull, to power items in the superstructure.  I had thought of making two copper contact plates in the Hull under the superstructure, to align with two spring loaded contacts in the supperstructure, so that when the superstructure is in place, the circuit is complete.  I would welcome any ideas or suggestions.

John,
Many thanks for that, that is exactly the sort of set up I was looking for and will work well with my Corvette.
