F14 Navy TX Question
« on: May 23, 2012, 12:14:46 pm »

I am currently using the twin sticks on a ratchet for motor control with centre off and forward and reverse. I want to redeploy the TX to a yacht and use the twin sticks together to operate the sheets winch with bottom to top movement for the sheets full in to full out.Do I need to go into  the 'works' of the Tx to reconfigure anything?

Thanks in advance

Are you going to use a separate RX for the yacht or move it from you current boat. I am using a F14 Navy on a submarine and use the twin sticks for ESC and front dive plane and the left inside slider for the ballast.
If your going to use both boats I would get another RX and set them up as you wish.
Hope this helps

Hi John

I will be using the F14 only for the yacht from now on.

If the yacht has only one winch, one of the sticks will be redundant.
If the winch is plugged into receiver channel 3 then i think it will be the left hand stick which is operational.
No harm to couple the sticks together, just that one of them will not be doing anything.
You may need to go inside the transmitter to reverse the appropriate channel depending on the winch installation.
