any info on this boat??

Hi guys,

Just bought this little boat in need of restoration, Im sure I have seen some of these before but not sure what it is supposed to be, I think this is a kind of lifeboat if im not mistaken? any info would be much appreciated  :-))

 Hi, I'm certain it was not a Lifeboat, but is as it says a pilot boat,and looks like a Nelson possibly? suggest you PM Neil, I am sure he may be able to identify it?
